SIP 'n' SOW SEEDS
The Izaak Walton League is proud to host GoGreen DesPlaines, Soil & Sprouts, and Backyard Prairies to "Sip 'n' Sow" native seeds for your garden. All supplies provided. No experience is necessary.
The evening kicks off with a brief presentation and discussion about seed-sowing techniques. Seeds, soil, tools, and containers will be provided. Native seeds giveaway by Natalia from Backyard Prairies. Presentation on "How to Winter Sow" by Joanna from Soil & Sprouts. Participants depart with jugs of winter-sown native seeds!
Bring your questions about gardening with native plants and any native seeds you wish to share!
Event: Free. Donations are appreciated to support our forest regeneration project and other nature education programs.
