Event Details:
Join us for a guided Spring Migration Bird Walk in celebration of Earth Day! After a brief introduction, we will explore the trails of Algonquin Woods Forest Preserve, an area actively managed by the Des Plaines Izaak Walton League. Conservation efforts led by KT Petersen (GoGreen Des Plaines), Ken Schaefer, and volunteers are enhancing the habitat by removing invasive plant species and increasing native flora in collaboration with the Forest Preserves of Cook County.
