On Saturday, July 22nd, the Des Plaines chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America hosted a presentation on Bees and Beekeeping by Jim Hochstein, our beekeeper.
Attendees were able to see the bees and hives in action along with equipment demonstrations for extraction.
The event concluded inside with a Q & A and light snack w/beverage.
