Big things have been happening at Izaak Walton in Des Plaines! Volunteers of all ages have been coming out to regenerate the forest! We have rescued so many ancient oak trees from buckthorn. It is turning into a lovely peaceful place by the Des Plaines River for all to enjoy!
We are meeting new friends and look forward to sharing many educational and fun programs! Winter is a fun time to come out for our big bonfires! You will be amazed when you see how much good work we can accomplish together in a short time!
